Save the date for the next SA Papercraft Fair!

The next SA Papercraft Fair will be held on Sunday 23rd October 2016 from 10 am - 3 pm at the Marion Leisure and Fitness Centre, Oaklands Road, Morphettville.

Yes, we'll be back at Marion, but unfortunately due to limitations the Edwardstown Lions club won't be providing catering. The centre will be providing refreshments in the foyer, which you are welcome to bring into the hall where tables and chairs will be set up.

Here is a letter from the Edwardstown Lions Club:

“Our inability to provide the catering as on previous occasions was met with disappointment.

We have enjoyed being able to provide your stallholders and customers with Devonshire teas and lunches. 

The opportunity to conduct a BBQ was discussed and it was felt that this was not an option due to limited space and being situated outside the building (weather being unpredictable in Oct).

Therefore we regretfully decline the chance to be involved with your group as we have built up a good relationship with most stallholders and have raised much needed funds which we donate directly back into the community.

We recently made a donation to both the Ascot Park Kindergarten and the Warradale Community Childcare Centre, both organisations finding fundraising difficult due to the diverse cultural backgrounds of their families.

 

We wish you every success with the Papercraft Fairs and would gladly provide catering again if the opportunity arises”.

Our customers will certainly miss your delicious Devonshire tea, cakes and lunches.
